BET AWARDS 2009...

I was one of many who stayed up all night to watch the BET Awards 2009 Live. I must say i was slightly disappointed with the lack of creativity with most of the performances.


Keri Hilson killed it performance wise, although her vocals were very much lacking, Jamie Foxx's rendition of 'Blame it', was very much on point especially with the entrance of Travis Barker giving the track that much needed edge.


I saw Ne-yo 7 his bald head too many times for my liking, Beyonce was quite boring i have to admit, Drake & Lil Wayne.... What the hell were they thinking letting Lil Way's daughter and her friends dance around the stage whilst they performed 'Every girl' Nonsense.



Keyshia Cole just looked like a yardie, & i know it was a Michael Jackson tribute, but she didn't have to go as far as having his hair style, come on Keyshia, just cause u got a new man in ur life it doesn't mean u can start slippin.

Keke Palmer aka Jail Bait, How old is this girl??? Apparently she's 15, but my girl looks well over 21, her stylists need to remember that she's still young, the girl has got time to look like a big woman. She gave us a beautiful accapella version of Who's loving you though.

Theres not much that has to be said about Maxwell, other than simply astonishing, the mans a walking legend.
But the performance of the night has to go to Johnny Gil, Trey Songz & Tyrese, for bringing music back to what it should be. I forgot Tyrese could blow like that, that boys got skills, amazing performance...

I luv Beyonce to the core, but i have to be honest to myself, her video's these days have not been quite up to standard, especially her most recent releases 'Ego' & 'Broken Hearted Girl', But i hope thats all about to change with the newest release of Sweet Dreams.
This video seems to showcase her iconic dance moves as well as some more personality in her performance which i haven't seen very much of since Bday.

This happens to be one of my favourite tracks from the album. I think the video is SICKKK, It tells the complete story and embodies the charisma of the lyrics. The video stars Rihanna, wearing next to nothing doing what she does best, which is being seen and not heard.. lol (She does look stunning though)

Paranoid was shot by famed director Nabil Elderkin, who previously worked on Yeezy’s “Champion” and “Welcome to Heartbreak” videos, I really like he's style and i can't wait to see what the pair of them produce in the future...
