Living it Up....

Yo guys, i went out on da town the other night expecting to see Miss Keri Hilson in the famous London night spot Movida, i had been tipped of that she would be attending, plus given free entry, who am i to turn down such an offer lol.
After a few hours of waiting 4 Miss Keri Baby i took a wonder around the club, and who do i see, none other than Mr. Baywatch aka Mr.Night rider aka The Hoff. Now guys i've met my fair share of celebs and managed to keep my cool, but for some reason i got extremely star struck when i saw David Hasselhoff, so i ran through the crowd and got my pic LOL...

After that buzz i had to relax, but i think one of my friends (Mr.Jbeatz) had some sought of Keri radar, cause he just knew she was in the building. We made our way to VIP and saw her Kickin it with Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams. I took a pic wid Michelle, but it came out blurry, i was so pissed.
Keri was really cool though, she performed 'Knock me down' & 'Turning me off' she took bare pics and spoke to her fans...


Overall it was a really good night, caught jokes and had fun... until next time guys.

I luv live

I attended a music showcase last week called I Luv Live, located in London's Bar Rumba club. The event is hosted by 1Xtra’s Ras Kwame and Twin B on the decks. I Luv Live presents some of the UK’s most exciting new talent, the artist that stood out for me on the night was Ms Cherri V. An up and coming singer/songwriter from London, her vocal ability is off the scale.

Wireless Festival 2009

The Wireless festival is a 2 day event showcasing some of the biggest acts in the Western world. I was lucky enough to attend on the sunday which was headlined by Kanye West, Mr.Hudson, QTIP, Kid Cudi, Young Jeezy, Noisettes, Daniel Merriweather & much much more..


The day was full of music and entertainment, luckily it was extremely hot as well.

The Noisettes where the 1st performers of the day that interested me, and i have to say they were spectacular. They performed a great deal of their album 'Wild young hearts' which is a incredible album by da way. It was my 2nd time seeing them this summer, and i have to say there gettin better with every show.

QTIP really surprised me, i didn't know how amazing he would be as a performer, he definitley made a fan out of me.

Kid Cudi was one of the highlights of the day, his energy was off the chart, and his presence was dominating yet vulnerable.

Kanye killed it as usual, his band was out of this world, those 808's seem to poses a power that forces your body to move. He has some ladies come on stage topless and act as ornaments, it was quite artistic, only Kanye could make topless women look dignified lol.

Itunes Festival 2009

Me & the crew won some tickets to the Itunes festival to see MR.Hudson. I was ecstatic when i thought i was just seeing him, but earlier on in the day Itunes sent out an email informing us that Kid Cudi & Kanye West would also be performing. I couldn't believe i would be seein Cudi & Yeezy twice in the space of 2 days. We made sure we got their early to get as close to the front as possible, which worked out in our favour.


Mr Hudson bursted onto the stage with such a Super cool demeanor.

As soon as his lips touched the mic, you could tell that he felt at home. Mr Hudson performed a number of tracks from his debut album 'A tale of two cities', with a few exclusive tracks from his up coming album 'Straight no chaser'.

When Cudi graced the staged the crowd went frantic. Cudi & Hudson performed new track 'Everthing is broken'Which set the tone of the performance. Cudi then performed His hit record 'Day & Night' which tore up the set.

Unfortunately it seems like the majority of the crowd was there to see Kanye, they went crazy when he came out and completely ignored Mr Hudson.
Kanye came out to Heartless, he & Mr.Hudson then performed one of my favourite tracks 'Paranoid', and they ended the set with a phenomenal performance of 'Supernova'..

Michaels Memorial, he had an amazing send off, with a public service broadcast to over 1 billion people. On the night a number of talent artists performed his songs and offered kind words of condolence to his family.

BET AWARDS 2009...

I was one of many who stayed up all night to watch the BET Awards 2009 Live. I must say i was slightly disappointed with the lack of creativity with most of the performances.


Keri Hilson killed it performance wise, although her vocals were very much lacking, Jamie Foxx's rendition of 'Blame it', was very much on point especially with the entrance of Travis Barker giving the track that much needed edge.


I saw Ne-yo 7 his bald head too many times for my liking, Beyonce was quite boring i have to admit, Drake & Lil Wayne.... What the hell were they thinking letting Lil Way's daughter and her friends dance around the stage whilst they performed 'Every girl' Nonsense.



Keyshia Cole just looked like a yardie, & i know it was a Michael Jackson tribute, but she didn't have to go as far as having his hair style, come on Keyshia, just cause u got a new man in ur life it doesn't mean u can start slippin.

Keke Palmer aka Jail Bait, How old is this girl??? Apparently she's 15, but my girl looks well over 21, her stylists need to remember that she's still young, the girl has got time to look like a big woman. She gave us a beautiful accapella version of Who's loving you though.

Theres not much that has to be said about Maxwell, other than simply astonishing, the mans a walking legend.
But the performance of the night has to go to Johnny Gil, Trey Songz & Tyrese, for bringing music back to what it should be. I forgot Tyrese could blow like that, that boys got skills, amazing performance...
